Hotel Accessibility

  • The hotel is in a village setting with parking available for 24 cars on-site. There is an allocated disabled parking bay 28m from the reception door. The car park is gravel and there is a stone path next to the disabled car parking space which goes to reception in one direction and to the barn conversion in the other (18m).
  • Access to reception is via a bridge on a 1:12 gradient. There are no steps into the building or through the public areas.
  • There are a total of 7 ground floor rooms. Two of these are in located off the garden opposite reception, one off the car park, and four more in the barn conversion (entrance is a 1:12 gradient). All but one of these rooms has an en-suite bathroom, with the seventh room having a shower with an approximate 4 inch step into it (this is in the barn - room 15). One of the ground floor rooms has a step up into the bathroom (room 23).
  • Dogs are welcome in most of our ground floor rooms.
  • There is a duty manager here 24 hours per day.
  • Brochures and menus can be provided in large print and audio (by prior arrangement).
  • There is an accessible toilet in the reception area.
  • An Ezee loop is available - please advise at time of booking if you would find the use of this helpful.
  • There are bed raisers, toilet seat raiser and a bath seat/board available on request.
  • Staff members are trained under the Welcome All Scheme.
