About our teas…

As its Afternoon Tea Week we thought you might be interested in finding out a little bit more about our extensive range of loose leaf tea which we source from the amazing Canton Tea Company.

Canton Tea was founded in 2007 in London by Jennifer Wood and is based on the principle of sourcing teas direct from small, family-run farms. They build relationships with the producers and have a trusted local buying partner to guarantee consistent quality.

These genuine artisan teas are grown and processed today, just as they have been for thousands of years. The teas are bought seasonally direct from the source to ensure they are authentic, fresh and full of flavour.

Canton Tea are members of the Ethical Tea Partnership, who work with both suppliers and farmers to assure a socially and environmentally ethical industry.

They are also an approved supplier of the Sustainable Restaurant Association, a not for profit membership organisation helping restaurants become more sustainable by sourcing food more sustainably, managing resources more efficiently and working more closely with their community.

We think the range of teas gives our Afternoon Tea Menu an added dimention and guests love to experiment and try a different one each time they come back. Why not book a table this week and try one of the following amazing teas - order full afteroon tea between now and Sunday 16th August and celebrate Afternoon Tea Week with a free glass of champane too.
